Dukes swept by the Jersey Blues

VINELAND- The Dukes of RCSJ-Cumberland baseball team were swept for the first time in the 2024 season. The 3-game series began on Friday when the Dukes fell to Brookdale Community College 15-2. Jimmy Kurtz and Ty Powell led the Dukes with 2 hits apiece. Powell brought in an RBI in the game as well. Cumberland would be defeated in game 2 by a score of 3-2. The Dukes held a 2-1 lead until the 6th inning when the Jersey Blues took the lead. Ty Powell and Christian Rinick each notched a hit for Cumberland. The finale of the series would be a win for the Jersey Blues by a score of 25-5.
