Duke swept by Roadrunners

VINELAND- The RCSJ-CUmberland Dukes had a tough matchup over the weekend as they faced off against the RCSJ-Gloucester Roadrunners. The Roadrunners would take all three games from the Dukes.

Game 1 of the series was a 10-1 victory for Gloucester. In the game, Christian Rinick would collect 2 hits for Cumberland. Jimmy Kurtz would get the lone RBI. On the mound, Matt Misiti, Matt Perez and Gavin Severa would combine to throw 7 innings and give up 10 earned runs while striking out 10 opponent batters. The Roadrunners would win game 2, 21-0. Cumberland could only muster 3 hits on the day. Andrew Balindo would have 2 hits. Finally, Gloucester would complete the sweep of the Dukes with a 19-7 win. Rinick went 3 for 4 at the plate and Jon Cimino also had 2 hits in the game.
