Dukes defeat Mercer County Vikings

WEST WINDSOR- The RCSJ-Cumberland Dukes defeated the Mercer County College Vikings yesterday for a midweek matchup. Cumberland scored 7 runs in the first 2 innings of play en route to a 12-8 victory. Christian Rinick led the way with 3 hits and 2 RBI's. Jimmy Kurtz and James Decarlo also added 2 RBI's in the game. Ty Powell, Gavin Shapiro, and Matt Perez all had multiple hits. Kurt Petschow had a quality start, pitching 5 innings and giving up 3 earned runs. Rinick, Perez, and Gage Ambruster finished the job; combining for 4 innings and 3 earned runs.
