Jenkins home run leads Dukes to victory over Ocean CC

TOMS RIVER - After a tough week, Dukes Baseball finally broke through offensively with a big 16-8 victory over host Ocean County.  All Dukes reached base via hit and each Duke scored a run in the victory.  Aiden Milligan earned the win on the mound for the Dukes as he entered the 6th inning with the bases loaded and escaped the jam with minimal damage.  He would then go on to throw a scoreless 7th inning followed by scoreless innings by Joey Gallagher and Tyler Histing.

Kory Jenkins delivered his heroics in the top of the 8th as he drove his 2nd home run of the season deep over the left field wall to give the Dukes a 10-8 lead.  The Dukes would tack on one more run in the 8th and 5 more in the 9th to close out the victory.
