Thomas, Mustchler shine in Dukes T&F debut
GALLOWAY TWP - On Saturday, March 26, RCSJ-Cumberland participated in their first Track and Field Meet which was held at Stockton University. The highlights for the Dukes was Kamar Thomas placing 16th in the long jump with a leap of 5.29 meters (17' - 3") and Scott Mutschler in the Shot Put with a throw of 9.23 meters (30'- 2") to place 19th. Both results were school records. The Dukes will be back in action on Saturday, April 9 at Stockton University.
Head Coach Lawrence Hickman shared his thoughts after the program's first meet in school history. "It was great for our kids to see what a collegiate track meet looks like. Kamar (Thomas) and Scott (Mutschler) really took to what was going on around them. I could not be more excited for these kids, the remainder of the season, and the future of this program".
