Dukes swept by Middlesex College

VINELAND- The Dukes hosted a double header vs. Region 19 foe, the Middlesex College Colts. Middlesex was able to sweep the Dukes after taking game 1, 9-0. The Cumberland offense could not get going as they were only able to muster 2 hits. The hits were tallied by Anita Hassen and Ashley Brag. Karly Smaniotto and Brag combined to pitch 5 innings and give up 9 earned runs. In game 2, the Dukes were able to compile 14 hits but it was not enough as they fall; 8-3. At the plate, Mollie Reece went 3 for 4 with 2 RBI's including a 2-run HR. Gianna Fisk and Angelina Figueroa both had 2 hits. Fisk pitched 7 innings and gave up 1 earned run.
