Skylynn Oyola to compete for Miss NJ Teen Crown

VINELAND - Not all Dukes competitiveness is reserved for the court or field.  The Dukes also compete on stage.  Freshman dual-athlete, Sky Oyola, will be competing in the Miss New Jersey Teen pageant scheduled for April 4 - 6 and will take place in Parsippany, NJ at the Hilton Parsippany. Oyola, who plays Basketball and Softball for the Dukes, was also Prom Queen for Vineland High School in 2024.

"I'm very excited but a little nervous," Oyola said.  "I appreciate everyones support and please go vote for me!".

Director of Athletics, Jonathan Dijamco added his thoughts. "This is very unique for us, but Sky herself is unique.  All of us on campus are so very proud of her for stepping into the pageantry arena and going after something she wants.  She's competing!  Can't speak enough on how proud I am of her."
