Late Centurions Run Sinks Cumberland

Cumberland County College's Men's Basketball Team shot a dismal 9 for 17 from the foul line, which ultimately lead to their downfall in an 82-76 loss to the Centurions of Bucks County Community College. The game was tied 59-59 with 6:16 left, but after a called timeout by BCCC, they mounted a 14-5 run to go up 73-64, then managed to keep the Dukes at arm's length the rest of the way.

Kyle Philo led the team with 17 points, which unfortunately wasn't enough to keep BCCC from escaping Cunningham Gymnasium with a win.  Kevin Raymond, of the Centurions, made four 3 pointers, and was the game's leading scorer with 23 points.

The loss snapped CCC's 6 game winning streak.  Cumberland will be back in action on Saturday February 11th, and the Dukes will look to get back into the win column against GSAC foe Brookdale Community College.
