Men's Basketball fall to Passaic County

PATTERSON, NJ – In a hard-fought Region 19 matchup the Cumberland Men's Basketball team faced a tough defeat against Passaic County with a final score of 79-63. Despite a promising start, leading 28-25 at halftime, Cumberland struggled in the second half, being outscored by 19 points.

The loss brings Cumberland's overall record to 1-5 for the season. The leading scorer for the Dukes was Ryan Roney, contributing 21 points to the team's effort. Naim Louis-Foster also played a crucial role, scoring 11 points, while Angel Smith showcased strong performance on the boards with 9 rebounds.
