Dukes Women's Basketball secure 1st win of 2023
VINELAND- TSgt George Linen has earned his first victory at the helm of the Dukes basketball program. The win came via a 61-15 score over visiting the Ocean County College Vikings. Cumberland outscored the Vikings in all 4 quarters. Six Dukes recorded a basket in the game, three scoring in the double digits. Leading scorer in the game was Julianna Wilson, scoring 17 points. Wilson was 7/19 from the field while adding 5 assists. Taleah Robinson turned in a double-double performance with 13 points and 10 rebounds. Aniah Hitchens came off the bench and provided a spark for the Dukes offense. Hitchens scored 11 points, 9 rebounds, and 5 steals.
