Dukes Women's Soccer Dominates Lehigh Carbon 7-0, Secures Historic Playoff Berth

VINELAND — The Dukes Women's Soccer team delivered a commanding performance in their latest match against Lehigh Carbon Community College, securing a resounding 7-0 victory. Summer Nasatka and Kam Chisholm each netting two goals while Taryn Richie, Mollie Reece, and Lanae Ben also contributed with one goal each. The goals for Ben and Reece were their career first at Cumberland.

The stellar defensive unit, led by Alana Del Rossi, Ariana Del Rossi, Jocelyn Rodriguez, and goalkeeper Charisma Wilke, once again posted an impressive shutout performance. This collective effort has been instrumental in the team's success throughout the regular season.

With this triumph, the Dukes conclude the regular season with a commendable 5-1-4 record. The team now eagerly anticipates the announcement of their seeding in the upcoming Region 19 tournament, which will be revealed tonight. The playoff appearance, when confirmed, will mark a historic milestone for the program as it is the first time the Dukes Women's Soccer team has earned a spot in the postseason. For all updates on Dukes soccer and all other athletic programs, follow us on all social media platforms (GoRCDukes).
