Dukes defeated by Roadrunners
SEWELL- The RCSJ-Cumberland softball team faced off against the RCSJ-Gloucester Roadrunners this past Tuesday. The Roadrunners were able to defeat the Dukes in both games.
The Roadrunners would take game 1 by a score of 9-2. The Dukes would manage 5 hits as a team. Anita Hassen brought in the loan RBI. Ashley Brag and Giana Fisk combined for 6 innings in the circle and gave up 7 earned runs. Gloucester would complete the sweep of Cumberland with a 10-7 win in game 2. Mollie Reece led the team with 3 hits on the day while Cecely Domingues and Anita Hassen collected 2 hits each. Reece led the team with 5 RBI's and Mimi Acevedo had 2 RBI's. Karly Smaniotto and Fisk combined for 6 earned runs in 6 innings.
